How to contribute to WIS

A secure login is required to contribute to the Wisconsin Image Server. Please read the contributor policy agreement below. After accepting the contributor agreement fill out the contributor request form to obtain a username and password. You will receive notification of your login by email.

If you wish to become a contributor, please read and respond to the "Contributor Policy Agreement" 

 Contributor Policy Agreement

Definitions:

WIS: The Wisconsin Imaage Server

Contributor: one who contributes images to the Wisconsin Image Server project.

Owner: One who owns an image contributed to the Wisconsin Image Server project.

Policies:

1. Contributors either own each contributed image, or have the permission of the owner to contribute an image to WIS.
2. All images contributed to the Wisconsin Image Server (WIS) project remain the property of the owner.
3. The contributor grants education use of all contributed images.
4. Permission from the copyright holder must be obtained for commercial use of any contributed image.
5. All the information provided is accurate to the best of the contributor's knowledge.
6. No image displaying pornographic or other illegal activity will be contributed.
7. The University of Wisconsin System and its employees will not be held responsible for violations of contributor agreement by users.
8. The University of Wisconsin System and its employees will not be held responsible for accidental deletion of contributed materials.
9. Images may be removed from the WIS archive if deemed inappropriate by the WIS administrator.
10. Images may be removed from the WIS archive at anytime at the request of the owner or contributor.

I have read and accept all the provisions set forth in the WIS contributor agreement.

I do not accept the provisions set forth in the WIS contributor agreement.
